Graphic Novel Apostle
Graphic Novel Apostle Mark Ohrenberger embarks upon his mission to share great stories from comics and graphic novels with his friends who don't read comics. Will any become Graphic Novel Disciples? We'll see!
The Graphic Novel Apostle Podcast will focus primarily on comic books and original graphic novels from outside the superhero genre: Crime Noir, Horror, Spy Thrillers, Adventure, Supernatural, Comedy, Westerns, Sci-Fi, Slice of Life, and so much more.
We'll cover stories from publishers like Image Comics, Boom! Studios, Dark Horse Comics, Oni Press, AWA, Aftershock, Mad Cave, IDW, and others. And who are we kidding? We'll get into some Marvel and DC books from time to time as well.

Ep. 46 - What Follows is True: Crescent Hotel, Sean Fitzgibbon Interview
Artist Sean Fitzgibbon joins the Graphic Novel Apostle podcast to discuss his gorgeous, hand-painted, nonfiction graphic novel, What Follows is True: Crescent Hotel. Fitzgibbon researched, wrote, drew, and painted this outstanding work that tells the story of the legendary Crescent Hotel, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. His book focuses primarily on the years, in the late-1930s, when the building housed the notorious Baker Hospital and its fraudster proprietor, Norman Baker, who lured desperate patients to Eureka Springs with promises of the cure for cancer.
Sean Also discusses his work on the forthcoming graphic nonfiction book, What Follows is True: Plum Bayou Mounds, which Sean is producing in conjunction with the Arkansas Archeological Survey. That book will serve as an educational resource highlighting the folklore, history, science, and archeological significance of the ancient Plum Bayou Mounds, in England, Arkansas.
Learn more about Sean's work, and pick up a copy of Crescent Hotel, at Sean's website, www.seanfitzgibbonart.com. You can read more about Sean's work on the Plum Bayou Mounds project at the Arkansas Archeological Survey's website.
